No. We inventory every URL first, rebuild on staging while Divi keeps running, map 301 redirects for any changed URLs, and monitor Search Console for two weeks after cutover. Rankings transfer when it’s done in this order.
No working one. Divi stores content as shortcodes and Elementor stores structured JSON; every ‘converter’ we’ve tested produces output you’d have to rebuild anyway. A real migration is a rebuild, done cleanly.
A 10-20 page business site runs 2-4 weeks; larger sites with WooCommerce or Theme Builder complexity run 4-8. We quote a fixed price after reviewing your site, and a design refresh is usually included since we’re rebuilding anyway.
Speed, maintainability, and freedom from shortcode lock-in. Divi wraps content in its own shortcodes, which slows pages and traps content if you ever deactivate it. A clean rebuild in Elementor or blocks fixes both.
It would if handled carelessly, since Divi stores layouts in shortcodes that turn to clutter without the plugin. We migrate content out of those shortcodes into clean markup first, so nothing breaks when Divi is removed.
