Your WordPress site needs someone watching it. That someone is us.

Updates break things. Sites get hacked. Plugins conflict. Hosting goes down. It’s not a matter of if, it’s when. Our maintenance plans keep a developer watching your site every day so small problems don’t become expensive emergencies.

Our approach

Proactive care, not break-and-fix support.

We treat maintenance as prevention: updates are tested on a staging copy before they touch your live site, monitoring catches downtime within minutes, and daily offsite backups mean there is always a clean restore point. Every plan is month-to-month, and we take over sites we didn’t build after an audit that documents what’s there.

The risk of doing nothing

What happens to unmaintained WordPress sites.

WordPress is the most-attacked platform on the web because it powers 43% of it. An unpatched plugin is an open door.

Hacked sites from outdated plugins

92% of WordPress hacks exploit known vulnerabilities in outdated plugins. Patches are released; most site owners never apply them. We do, within days of release.

Downtime you don't notice for hours

Your site goes down at 2 AM. You find out at 10 AM when a customer emails you. We catch it in under 5 minutes with uptime monitoring and alert you immediately.

Broken layouts after a plugin update

A WooCommerce update conflicts with your checkout plugin. An Elementor update shifts your homepage layout. We test updates on staging before applying them to your live site.

No clean backup when disaster strikes

If you don’t have a daily offsite backup, recovering from a hack or a bad update can mean rebuilding from scratch. We run daily backups stored off your server.

What's actually included

Maintenance isn't just clicking "Update All."

There’s a right way and a wrong way to run WordPress updates. The wrong way is clicking “Update All” on your live site and hoping nothing breaks. The right way is what we do.

We run a staging copy of your site, apply all updates there first, test core functionality after each update, then apply the same updates to your live site once we’ve confirmed nothing broke. If something does break, we fix it before it hits your visitors.

Staged updates before live deployment

Manual functional testing after updates

Rollback capability if something breaks

PHP compatibility checks before major upgrades

Plugin conflict monitoring and resolution

Database optimization runs

What happens when something breaks?

1 Our monitoring system detects the issue, usually within 5 minutes of it happening.

2 You get an automatic alert by email. We get one too, and we start working on it.

3 If we caused it with an update, we roll back immediately. If it's a hosting or external issue, we diagnose and escalate.

4 We send you a summary of what happened, what we did, and what we're doing to prevent it happening again.

Our process

How we take over the care of your site.

01

Audit

We review your site first: what’s installed, what’s outdated, what’s risky. If something needs fixing before we can maintain it safely, we tell you and quote it separately.

02

Pick a plan

We match the plan to your site so you don’t pay for hours you won’t use. All plans are month-to-month, with 30 days notice to cancel.

03

Setup

We configure offsite backups, uptime monitoring, and security scanning, set up a staging copy for testing updates, and document your setup.

04

Ongoing care

Updates run on staging first, then live. Monitoring watches the site every day, and you get a monthly report of what we did.

Pricing

Choose the right level of support for your business.

All plans include the essentials. Higher plans add developer hours and priority response times.

Common questions

Maintenance plan questions, answered.

Yes. We take over maintenance for existing sites all the time. Before starting, we run an audit to understand what’s there, flag any immediate issues, and document your setup. If we find something that needs fixing before we can maintain it safely, we’ll tell you and quote it separately.

Any development work beyond updates, backups, and monitoring, adding a new page, changing something in your design, troubleshooting a plugin issue, setting up a new form, etc. Hours roll over for one month if you don’t use them. We track usage transparently and let you know before you go over.

Yes. Additional hours are available at a discounted maintenance rate. If you find yourself needing a lot more hours consistently, we’ll recommend upgrading your plan. It’s usually more cost-effective.

All plans are month-to-month. Give us 30 days notice and you’re out. No penalty, no lock-in. We’ll give you a clean handover document with everything about your site documented so whoever takes over can get up to speed quickly.

Maintenance is separate from hosting. We maintain sites regardless of where they’re hosted, though we’ll flag if your hosting is creating problems. If you want us to manage hosting as well, we can set you up on a recommended environment and include that in a custom plan.

Plans are tiered by the level of coverage and developer time you need, starting affordably for small sites and scaling up for stores and busy sites. We match the plan to your site so you don’t overpay for hours you won’t use.

Core, theme, and plugin updates tested on staging, off-site backups, security monitoring, uptime checks, and a block of developer time for small changes. The goal is a site that stays fast, secure, and current without you managing it.

Maintenance is proactive, keeping the site updated, backed up, and secure on a schedule. Support is reactive, handling requests and changes you send in. Our plans combine both so the site is cared for and you have someone to call.

Yes. We apply updates on a staging copy first, check the site works, then push to live. That prevents the broken-site surprises that happen when updates run blindly on production.
